Fees are payable in full when booking appointments. Travel fee and additional costs invoiced separately.

As an Endorsed Midwife,  you are given the opportunity to claim medicare rebates for lactation/midwifery services up to 6w6days postnatally.  To be eligible for Midwifery Services you need a referral letter from your GP or obstetrician.  A letter is not required if you are seeking one off Lactation services only (up to 6 weeks and 6 days postnatal). You will be provided with a receipt for services that you can then take to Medicare or your private health fund to claim rebates. Not all private health funds cover lactation and midwifery services, check with your fund if relevant to you.

Our online booking system, means you can pay for your consultation in full at the time of booking. Additional travel or weekend/after hours costs will be invoiced separately and can be paid in cash on the day or via our booking system.

*Travel costs apply if over 40mins travel time (via Google Maps from Hallett Cove).

  • Weekend/public holiday call out fee $60

  • Travel cost between 40-60 mins $25

  • Travel cost over 60mins $60

It would be expected an initial breastfeeding consult would take approximately 1.5 hours and follow up appointments only 45mins.  Times in excess of this will incur an additional fee of $50/30mins.

Confirmation of an appointment with us requires completion of a comprehensive Intake Questionnaire at least 24 hours prior to our appointment time without exception. This gives us time to review your responses and plan our time together effectively. Incompletion of this WILL result in your appointment being rescheduled or cancelled. The questionnaire is simple and takes approximately 10-15 mins to complete. This is a small practice and as such, confirmation from clients is crucial to avoid unfairly missed revenue and inefficient use of consult time.
