This appointment is customised to your particular needs and includes a detailed history, infant feeding assessment, written plan of care to you via email, relevant handouts, written report to your GP/Paediatrician (if required), referral to relevant other health care professionals, receipt of services, unlimited phone/text/email follow up for the 2 days following appointment. All in the comfort of your home.

This consultation option is a longer appointment time to cover all those breastfeeding concerns/education that cannot be covered in a single consultation.

FOLLOW UP CONSULTATION
(Previous clients ONLY)
Comprehensive return home visits are often required and are offered at a reduced rate. These visits include revision of our original care plan, referral to other health care professionals as required, written report to your GP/paediatrician (if required), phone/text/email follow up for the 2 days following appointment.
If you feel you have concerns that cannot be addressed within 45 mins please book additional time. Additional time is charge in 30min increments at $50. Please consider this when booking and payment is due on the day.

VIRTUAL BREASTFEEDING CONSULTATION
Online breastfeeding consultation covering any questions or concerns regarding breastfeeding and your baby.
Video’s and photos requested prior to consultation.
MULTIPLE BIRTH CONSULTATION

These appointments are for follow up after an initial consultation to check progress, monitor weight and tweak original care plan.

These short phone consultations are perfect for discussing weaning, preparing for returning to work, expressing or any other breastfeeding concerns you have that do not require an in-person consultation.
THE COMPLETE MIDWIFERY PACKAGE
This is our most popular package purchased by parents to help them transition to the newborn period and is suitable for first time or experienced families. I only schedule a small amount of package clients a month to ensure I am available to provide comprehensive care to your family.
Prepaid by 32 weeks
A postnatal midwifery package from Megan includes:
* Unlimited phone, email or text support between 9am-6pm during the postnatal package period. Perfect for quick questions that pop up along the way.
* Appointments are Monday to Friday only. Out of hours appointments at the discretion of midwife.
* 1 x 90 min Zoom antenatal planning session to get you started in the right direction. This is a time to share your goals and fears regarding your upcoming breastfeeding and parenting experience. Any questions you have will be answered and we will create a solid plan for your postpartum care in the first 6 weeks.
* 6 x 60 min in home postnatal appointments throughout the first 6 weeks. We will work together (including your partner) to ensure you are confident with all aspects of infant care as well as your own wellbeing as you both transition to this new role.
* Other appointments can be added in as needed and bulk-billed.
I will really get to know you and your baby, with the focus always being on your personal goals, your family's priorities and meeting you exactly where you are without judgement.
Must be used in full within the first 6 weeks following birth to receive Medicare rebates.
Travel fee: (charged once only, not per consultation)
* Additional travel cost $100 (for distances over 40mins from Hallett Cove).

Use these 4 x 60min visits however you wish within the first 6 weeks. One can even be used antenatally to develop a feeding plan (via Zoom).

GIFT CERTIFICATE/ BABY SHOWER GIFT
Gift certificates can be made to any configuration/amount. Such as an antenatal breastfeeding education session and a postnatal home visit for when the baby has arrived! Why not purchase the entire Complete Postnatal Package for the special family.
Sometimes it can be hard to find that perfect gift for a new family and this is the ideal solution! Much more valuable and beneficial than an electric nappy disposal unit or another item the family won't use/need. The gift of knowledge and support is one that will be most beneficial and most remembered.
